Bring the Zoo Outreach Program to your school for an exciting education experience featuring live animals from the Children’s Zoo!
The Zoo Outreach Program brings live animals and biological artifacts to your classroom! Each presentation introduces your students to up to three of our animals for an up-close-and-personal glimpse into the animal kingdom. Students learn fascinating information about each animal and how they fit into the world around them. We will also share information about conservation and environmental issues related to the animals we bring and provide examples of how your students can help.
Each experience is exciting and interesting, filled with fun facts, trivia and fascinating stories about our animals and how they impact our lives. With our program, your students will have the opportunity to gain a new respect for the animal kingdom and increase their knowledge of environmental concerns in the world in which we live.
A question and answer period will follow the presentation if time permits. Animals can be scheduled for no more than 3 sessions per day. A reservation is required, along with a donation, according to the list of lessons available below.
