The possibilities are endless at our summer day camps! All camps run from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Drop-off is no earlier than 8:45 a.m. and pick-up may be no later than 3:15 p.m. Please refer to the Registration Form for further details.
 
For ages 5-7
July 8-9: Future Zookeeper - What do zookeepers do all day? Do they play with animals? This two-day camp will get you the real truth! July 12: The Most Extreme - Can you jump higher than a bobcat? This one-day camp will get you up and moving to see if you have what it takes to be the most extreme! July 15: Artsy Smartsy - Love animals and art? This one-day multimedia camp will be a great introduction to creative fun! For Ages 5-8 July 15-19: Zooseum - Enjoy a full week of activities visiting both the Mid-Michigan Children's Museum and the Children's Zoo at Celebration Square! For Ages 8-10 July 10-11: Homes Around the World - What do animals need to survive? Find out in this two-day camp investigating habitats; even make a habitat for one of our zoo residents! July 18-19: Junior Zookeeper - Ever wonder what zoo staff do to take care of the animals? Find out in this two-day camp! Meet with some of our excellent animal caretakers and see if you have what it takes to be a junior zookeeper! For Ages 11-13 July 22-24: Animal Behavior and Care - Dive into our animals' minds! This three-day camp will explore the fascinating worlds of animal training and care. Learn basic operant conditioning (animal training) methods and find out exactly what is involved with caring for zoo animals!
