The Zoo is unique with its beautiful park-like setting, gorgeous flower gardens, animal attractions, rides and more.

Let us help make your next gathering memorable. The rates listed below reserve the Party Tent for up to two (2) hours, with a fee of $50 per each additional hour. Current Zoo Members receive 10% off the rental price.* 

Renting the Zoo after hours:  A $250 fee will be added to the rental total for each hour of the rental for parties scheduled after regular zoo operating hours.  Click here for regular zoo hours.   

From less than 50 guests, up to 400, the Zoo can accommodate.

Party Tent Rental Prices:

Seating and Tents

The Party Tent covers a 100' x 40' space and provides seating for up to 200 guests at picnic tables. If the size of your party requires more or different seating or extra tent space, we'll be happy to arrange a rental from an outside vendor.

Add-On Options

• Rides ($2 per person, per ride) – Train or Carousel; ($5 per person) – Unlimited rides; there is also the option of an allotment of ride tickets that can be given to you and we will then bill you after the event for the amount of tickets used (must be arranged in advance).
• Animal Presentation ($50) – An animal presentation that provides an up-close view of an animal. With some animals, there may be an opportunity to touch as well. The Zoo requires at least one-week notice when scheduling an animal presentation. Requests for specific animals cannot be guaranteed.

Booking Your Party

A deposit of 50% of your rental fee is required to reserve your event date, applicable to your total party fee. The Zoo accepts VISA and MasterCard over the phone. In the event that you cancel your party, the deposit is non-refundable.

The balance of your fee is due at the Admission Booth on the day of the party before the party begins. Cash, checks, VISA and MasterCard are accepted.

Please call to confirm your rental package; you have until 5 days before the date of your party to change/confirm your package. You will be charged according to your last recorded terms.

Please include one adult for every 5 children and see that children are supervised as you enjoy the Zoo.

Your party guests will enter the Zoo through the main admission gate and will need to check in as guests of your party.

If more guests show up than were planned for in your rental package, you will be charged according to the next price level.

The Zoo remains open rain or shine, and will host your event as planned. If a severe weather watch is in effect, your party will be postponed until the weather watch expires, or until a rescheduled time/date agreed upon by you and the Zoo.

If you or your party guests fail to abide by the Zoo's Courtesy and Safety Guidelines, all fees deposited or paid for your party package and party options will not be refunded.

Decorations and Prohibited Items

If you wish to bring party decorations or favors, please let us know ahead of time. In order to keep our party facilities in good shape, stapling decorations will not be permitted. Because these items can prove harmful or fatal to animals if ingested, the following items are not allowed on Zoo grounds:

• Glass bottles
• Balloons – inflated or not inflated, latex or Mylar
• Straws
• Plastic drink lids
• Confetti
• Garland
• Cigarettes
• Cigars
• Crepe paper
• Alcoholic Beverages 

Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on Zoo grounds.

Courtesy and Safety

The Zoo is a fun place to be, especially when our guests respect the Zoo and each other. To ensure the success of your party, please make your guests aware of our visitor policy:

• Chaperones are to remain with, and supervise, their groups at all times.
• If we see you smoking, we'll assume you're on fire and throw water on you ... just kidding, however, we kindly ask that you refrain from smoking while on Zoo grounds.
• Please do not cross the barriers or fences around exhibits.
• Share your food with people instead of animals ... people food can make our animals sick! Please do not feed the animals, including our roaming birds.
• Help keep our exhibits safe and clean ... please do not throw anything into the exhibits, as this can be dangerous for the animals.
• No one likes being picked on ... please do not chase, tease or yell at the animals.
• We don't like sad goodbyes ... for the safety and enjoyment of all, guests who do not abide by these guidelines may be asked to leave.
